What is worth writing about

• A reading you can show is wrong. The most useful reports name your mouse, its configured polling rate, your browser and operating system, and what the tool said instead. Hardware behaviour varies more than documentation admits, and several details on this site were corrected only after someone tested real hardware.
• A browser that behaves differently. Side buttons, the wheel tilt and the raw report stream are the three areas where browsers diverge most.
• A correction to something written here. If an explanation is wrong or misleading, it should be fixed rather than defended.
• A privacy request. See the privacy policy for what that covers.

What this site cannot help with

These tools report what your browser receives from your mouse. They cannot repair hardware, change a driver setting, or tell you which mouse to buy — there is nothing for sale here and no affiliate arrangement behind any recommendation, because there are no recommendations.

Replies

This is a small independent project, not a support desk. Messages are read, and ones that identify a real bug get answered. A reply may take several days.
